We are seeking an experienced General Manager of Operations to lead our facility in Spearwood, Western Australia. This is a senior leadership role with full operational and financial accountability, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in a complex, fast-paced logistics environment.
What you’ll Do
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator based at our Ormeau site. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting day-to-day transport operations by ensuring accurate data management, coordinating freight movements, and delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilites:
Provide administrative support across daily transport operations
Prepare and manage transport documentation, including manifests, delivery dockets, and consignment notes
Accurately enter and maintain freight, transport, and customer data
Coordinate with internal teams and external transport providers to ensure timely delivery outcomes
Monitor transport activities and escalate delays or discrepancies
Assist with customer and internal queries relating to transport movements
Support compliance with transport regulations and Chain of Responsibility requirements
Identify opportunities to improve processes and data accuracy
Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to company policies
What Experience and Education You Need.
You’re a proactive and detail-focused administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly. You’re comfortable working in a busy operational setting and can manage competing priorities with ease.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain administration
- Familiarity with systems such as TMS, WMS, or ERP platforms
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A problem-solving mindset and customer-focused approach
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in cold chain, FMCG, or temperature-controlled logistics
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility or transport compliance requirements
- Relevant qualification in logistics, transport, or business administration
