Americold’s Second Chance Program creates job opportunities for individuals
who were
formerly incarcerated, homeless, or recovering from addiction. By offering meaningful
work, we help
people rebuild their lives and bring motivated, high-performing talent into our
workforce. This
initiative reflects our belief in second chances and our commitment to creating real,
lasting impact in
the communities we serve.

YouthBuild is a global nonprofit organization that
empowers and
provides opportunity for youth—young individuals aged 16 to 24 who are out of school and out
of work—by
helping them gain education, job skills, and leadership experience. Through hundreds of
local programs,
YouthBuild participants work toward earning high school diplomas or equivalent credentials
while also
receiving hands-on training in fields such as construction, healthcare, IT, and retail. This
program
emphasizes personal and community transformation, and encourages youth to become leaders and
active
contributors to their communities. YouthBuild operates with a core belief in the untapped
potential of
these young individuals and aims to provide them with the tools and support needed to build
brighter
futures.
