Americold is a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure. We partner with farmers and food producers to ensure their perishable and frozen product reaches food suppliers, restaurants, and your local grocery store without spoilage. What You'll Do:

We are looking for a Team Manager at our Hemmant site, who is experienced with providing strong operations leadership to a team of frontline workers, whilst developing skillsets in the team and supporting other site leaders. You would manage and coordinate all processes and activities during the shift to deliver outstanding customer service.

Roster: Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 1:30am 

Essential Functions 

  • Planning and controlling KPI performance of a team, and managing all aspects of labour 
  • Maintaining compliance to health and safety and driving a safety culture 
  • Coordinating and managing work with sub-contractors and internal departments 
  • Managing employee performance and creating development pathways 

 

What Experience and Education You Need:

Ideally you are someone who has exceptional attention to detail and who prides themselves on being deadline oriented and can maintain a high level of productivity.

  • Minimum 3 years of proven operational management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large teams.
  • Knowledge of distribution operations.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Cross-functional leadership with multiple teams.
  • Experience in effective decision-making in a fast-moving business environment.
