Primary Responsibility

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to provide strong operational leadership to a team of frontline workers at our Diversey Lane site in Auckland. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating all processes and activities during the overnight shift, ensuring safe operations, high performance, and outstanding customer service outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, lead, and control team KPI performance, including all aspects of labour management
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements while actively driving a strong safety culture
  • Coordinate work activities across internal departments
  • Manage employee performance, coaching, and development to build strong capability within the team
  • Support site leadership to ensure operational continuity during overnight operations

 

This is a permanent night shift role working the following roster: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Friday 10:00pm til 6:30am

Flexibility and reliability to work this shift pattern are essential.

What Experience and Education You Need

  • Minimum 3 years’ proven operational management experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing large frontline teams
  • Knowledge of distribution or warehousing operations
  • Strong people management and performance leadership skills
  • Experience making effective decisions in fast-paced, operational environments
  • High attention to detail with strong time management and productivity focus
