What you’ll Do
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Team Manager to lead and oversee all inventory operations within our Spearwood Operation. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of inventory while driving best-practice processes and continuous improvement across the site.
You will play a critical leadership role, partnering with Operations and the National Inventory Manager to maintain consistent standards and deliver accurate reporting across the region.
Roster: Monday – Friday Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Accuracy & Shelf-Life
Monitor aged and short-dated stock, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues such as receipt errors, quarantine holds, and incorrect put-away. Validate stock-on-hand before operational release. - Systems & Master Data
Maintain accurate WMS product setup (slotting, allocation, replenishment) and manage in-transit/unslotted inventory to ensure system integrity. - Cycle Counting & Stock Control
Lead cycle counts to meet national and customer requirements, investigate variances, and address root causes of discrepancies. - Location & Warehouse Accuracy
Conduct regular location audits and maintain check digit accuracy to improve picking and reduce errors. - Workflow Management
Manage RF task exceptions, including overdue put-aways, replenishment failures, and unconfirmed receipts. - Reporting & Stock Issues
Investigate stock discrepancies and out-of-stocks, identify root causes, and report findings with corrective actions. - Product Recall Support
Trace product history (batch, lot, UBD, PO) and support recall identification and retrieval processes. - People Leadership
Lead and develop the Inventory Team, drive safety and KPI performance, and deliver training on systems and processes.
What Experience and Education You Need.
Proven experience in operations or inventory management (minimum 3 years)
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams
Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations
Excellent people leadership and stakeholder management skills
Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Relevant logistics or supply chain qualification (preferred)
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
