About Us
Americold is a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure. We partner with farmers and food producers to ensure their perishable and frozen product reaches food suppliers, restaurants, and your local grocery store without spoilage. What you’ll Do
As Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing site operations to meet service and financial targets. You’ll lead a team of supervisors and associates, foster a proactive and safety-first culture, and ensure compliance across food safety, operational standards, and employment regulations. Lead and motivate a high-performing operations team to meet productivity and service targets.
Lead operational performance to meet and exceed financial and service KPIs.
Build a positive, team-based culture through effective communication and leadership.
Coach and mentor team members, identifying development opportunities.
Manage customer relationships and promote a partnership approach.
Prepare operational plans and contribute to budgeting and cost control.
Ensure compliance with food safety, occupational safety, and company policies.
Oversee site housekeeping, maintenance, and sanitation standards.
Recruit, train, and develop supervisor-level staff.
Monitor progress, report on performance, and drive continuous improvement.
What Experience and Education You Need
3–4 years of proven operational management experience within a warehouse, logistics environment.
Experience navigating WMS Systems
Experience within a cold storage environment would be highly advantageous.
Strong experience managing KPIs and operational budgets.
Knowledge of ambient distribution operations, ideally in the retail sector.
Proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong influencing and decision-making capabilities.
