Primary Responsibility :

As the Pallet clerk, you will  work closely with the NSW Operations Managers and the Inventory Manager to ensure the complete and accurate implementation of the hired equipment process, procedures, and data for all assigned NSW sites.
Roster: Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 8:30pm

What You’ll Do :

• Identify, investigate and report instances of non-conformance
• Develop, review and comply with written procedures involved with the physical movement of hire equipment (pallets, cages, bins etc.)
• Audit written procedures, ensuring effectiveness and implementing process improvement where required
• Auditing, counting and recording of pallets off the consignment notes, temp control sheets, run sheets, manifests, transfer/store issue dockets and the pallet control system to 100% completion and accuracy.
• Responsibility for compiling and reporting on financial obligations relating to hired equipment write-off and invoice approvals.
• Reviewing, compiling, reconciling and reporting on all equipment hire and movements weekly and monthly
• Investigate and action all claims from trading partners as well as action all rejections and corrections placed on the site hire accounts.
• Reconciliation of historical accounts data
• Training of operational and admin associates on pallet procedures
• Responsible for general administration duties, including docket entries and daily auditing of operational adherence
• Ensuring site pallet balances remain at optimal levels through best practice proces,s including regular de-hire reviews.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including transport and external pallet provider,s in relation to reporting, reconciliation and conducting regular meetings.
• Highly transactional, multi-customer and multi-site operation.
• Responsible for servicing over 700 end customers across NSW.
• Responsible for the day-to-day dealings with trading partners (e.g., transport companies, other Americold site locations and customers) across NSW.

What Experience and Education You Need :

• Strong stock management system experience
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and managing key stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Advanced knowledge of 2IC and AS400 pallet control systems
• Knowledge of distribution operations.
• Experience of effective decision making in a fast moving business environment
• Desire to learn and grow.
• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years’ work experience in warehouse environment
• Must have current driver’s license and own car
• Will be required to work across multiple sites
