What you’ll Do
As the National CoR Manager – Transport, you will lead and govern Chain of Responsibility compliance across Americold’s national transport network. You will ensure full compliance with NHVL requirements while embedding consistent safety, risk, and compliance practices across all sites, regions, and transport providers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development, implementation, and governance of CoR frameworks nationally
- Ensuring consistent application of NHVL requirements across all sites and regions
- Developing and maintaining national CoR policies, procedures, and standards
- Conducting audits and assurance activities across multiple sites and transport providers
- Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring ongoing compliance
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating transport-related risks
- Maintaining national risk registers and control frameworks
- Leading investigations into incidents, breaches, and near misses
- Driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Uplifting CoR maturity and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Establishing national standards for transport provider compliance and onboarding
- Ensuring all carriers and subcontractors meet CoR obligations
- Partnering with site operations and providers to embed CoR into daily operations
- Providing expert advice on compliance risks in operational decision-making
- Developing and delivering national CoR training programs
- Building capability and awareness across the business
- Coaching leaders and operational teams on compliance responsibilities
- Championing a strong safety-first culture aligned with WHS and AOS frameworks
What Experience and Education You Need
- 5–7 years’ experience in transport, logistics, or safety/compliance roles
- Demonstrated experience managing CoR compliance in a multi-site or national environment
- Strong knowledge of NHVR / NHVL requirements
- Experience in 3PL, cold chain, or FMCG logistics (highly desirable)
- Proven experience in auditing, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Strong data analysis and reporting capability
- Qualification in Logistics, Safety, or related field
- CoR / NHVR compliance training
- ICAM or similar incident investigation certification
