What you’ll Do

As a Network Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting LAN/WAN solutions, including SD-WAN, across greenfield and brownfield sites. You’ll work closely with global and regional teams to ensure seamless connectivity, robust security, and compliance with industry standards.

This role offers a unique blend of technical depth, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement, with up to 50% travel across ANZ and occasional after-hours work to meet business needs.

  • Design and implement LAN/WAN and SD-WAN network solutions.
  • Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Support application connectivity and interface services.
  • Deploy and maintain global IT network security standards.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and ensure consistent performance.
  • Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with IT Security on incident response and threat management.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead and support infrastructure projects, including vendor coordination and cutover planning.
  • Deliver high-level customer service to internal stakeholders.

What Experience and Education You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, network operations, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking (routers, switches, wireless), Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ISE, and Catalyst Center.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS).
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure network environments (desirable).
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under pressure.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with SOX compliance, audit documentation, and security frameworks.
