Primary Responsibility:

Americold is recruiting a Team Manager at our Acacia Ridge, Queensland site who is experienced in providing strong operational leadership to a team of frontline workers, whilst developing the team's skill set and supporting other site leaders. You would manage and coordinate all processes and activities during the shift to deliver outstanding customer service.

As the Team Manager, you will work a Tuesday – Saturday roster on the morning Shift.

What You'll Do:

• Planning and controlling the KPI performance of a team, and managing all aspects of labour 
• Maintaining compliance with health and safety and driving a safety culture 
• Coordinating and managing work with subcontractors and internal departments 
• Managing employee performance and creating development pathways 

What Experience and Education You Need:

Ideally, you are someone with exceptional attention to detail who prides themselves on meeting deadlines and maintaining high productivity.

• Minimum 3 years of proven operational management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large teams.
• Knowledge of distribution operations.
• Strong people management skills.
• Cross-functional leadership with multiple teams.
• Experience in effective decision-making in a fast-moving business environment.
