What You'll Do
You will be responsible for developing and executing annual sales goals and strategies, managing commercial performance and customer relations, and overseeing contract and financial management for assigned sites. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, supporting market intelligence and M&A activities, and ensuring alignment with district budgets and revenue growth objectives. Travel may be required for business purposes.
This remote role oversees Americold's facilities across Arkansas. Candidates must reside in Arkansas and be willing to travel up to 50% for customer meetings, site visits, and business-related activities throughout the region.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement annual sales goals, performance standards, and reporting functions for all accounts.
- Monitor and maximize EBITDA for assigned sites by managing commercial performance and ensuring deals are accretive and at market rate.
- Collaborate with District Operation Directors to establish district budgets and achieve financial targets.
- Initiate and execute proactive lead management and funnel processes to support targeted sales and customer acquisition.
- Provide market intelligence and support for M&A activities including competitive analysis and customer insights.
- Manage contract negotiations, maintenance, and documentation to ensure compliance and alignment with invoicing.
- Maintain customer relationships by leading issue escalation, conducting business reviews, and supporting retention and cross-selling initiatives.
- Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
What Experience and Education You Need
- Minimum 5 years of distribution sales experience including at least 3 years in field sales management with increasing responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing or equivalent training in Business or Sales Management.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes within distribution, warehousing, logistics, or transportation industries.
- Demonstrated financial analysis skills relevant to distribution and logistics.
- Proven ability to build and maintain new business relationships.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven experience delivering presentations using PowerPoint to executive audiences.
- Track record of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.
- Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.
- Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others, verbally and/or in writing.
- May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.
- May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.
- May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
