Our customers, which include some of the most respected brands in the food industry, rely on our expertise and commitment to safety in order to deliver on their commitments.

What you’ll Do

Americold is a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, partnering with some of the most recognisable Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands across Australia. We’re expanding — and we’re looking for an experienced Demand Manager to take ownership of demand planning and replenishment across our national QSR network.

If you thrive at the intersection of data, operations, and customer engagement, this is a high‑impact role where As our Demand Manager, you’ll lead the forecasting and replenishment engine that powers service excellence for our QSR customers. You’ll use data, insight, and strong stakeholder relationships to keep stores and distribution centers stocked, efficient, and ready for trading.

In this role you will:

  • Own the end-to-end forecast, using POS, promotional, and event data to deliver accurate short, medium, and long-term demand plans.

  • Optimise replenishment models to ensure the right stock hits the right locations at the right time.

  • Resolve planning challenges quickly — from data gaps to promotions or operational disruptions.

  • Lead customer service reviews, communicate insights and drive continuous improvement.

  • Partner with procurement and IT, aligning inbound supply, improving data quality, and ensuring system stability.

  • Enhance planning performance, building better models, dashboards, and processes.

  • Manage, enhance, and validate demand forecasts for national QSR customers.

  • Oversee data inputs, including POS, inventory, wastage, and promotional calendars.

  • Adjust statistical models to maximise system-generated forecast accuracy.

  • Resolve forecast exceptions and anomalies.

  • Design and maintain replenishment models for stores and DCs.

  • Maintain SKU profiles, sourcing logic, rules, and lead times.

  • Ensure automated replenishment parameters are correctly configured.

  • Support generation and review of recommended orders.

  • Align replenishment plans with procurement and supplier constraints.

  • Be the primary planning contact for QSR customers.

  • Run weekly and monthly performance reviews.

  • Provide insights, reporting, and exception analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness across all integrated datasets.

  • Monitor data flows and escalate quality issues promptly.

  • Work with IT to ensure system performance and stability.

  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and analytical tools.

What Experience and Education You Need:

  • Strong experience with forecasting and planning systems (Oracle SCP, Blue Yonder, or similar).

  • Proven background managing replenishment for high‑volume, multi‑store networks.

  • Deep understanding of POS‑driven forecasting, safety stock, order cycles, and capacity constraints.

  • High confidence working with large datasets and multiple integration sources.

  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or VMI within FMCG, QSR, or retail.

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and comfort navigating ambiguity.

  • Experience leading improvements or implementing new planning capabilities.
