What You’ll Do

As a Senior Supply Chain Systems Deployment Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in deploying and integrating our in-house supply chain systems and integration services to meet business needs and deliver high-value solutions. This position ensures effective, measured rollouts that enhance operational efficiency and support our growth strategy.

You’ll work closely with the Supply Chain Systems Group, IT associates, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver seamless implementations aligned with our IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of key business processes to provide program guidance and insights.
  • Coordinate and execute projects, including planning, analysis, and scheduling.
  • Draft project documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, test scripts, and UAT plans.
  • Participate in testing and manage user acceptance testing.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to ensure engagement and readiness.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, collaborating with IT and business teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage data initiatives and cutover planning processes.

Change & Training

  • Develop project and training documentation in line with implementation methodology.
  • Deliver formal training plans and user training sessions.
  • Ensure business change readiness for all programs.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with IT controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley).

Support

  • Define technical requirements for ongoing system maintenance and future functionality.
  • Provide technical support for supply chain applications and assist with escalated incidents.

Team & Partnership

  • Interact with business teams at all levels, delivering high-level customer service.
  • Support a culture of excellence, communication, and customer focus.

What Experience and Education You Need

  • Relevant university degree (preferred).
  • Advanced degree such as MS or MBA (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Americold supply chain systems, particularly Power/P2 and EDI.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field preferred.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in IT/Development.
